Maybe posting these pictures isn't such a good idea...anyway here's the breakdown of the dish
First time roasting red bell peppers as well as jalenpenos. So simple, so gooodd! and they were right about how easily the skin comes off. Pureed it up. OH btw, phew, the jalepenos were spicy, forgot that heat releases the oils of the seeds, man, gotta remember to cut back next time. And mixed it up with the marscarpone cheese.
Just seasoned the potatoes with kosher salt, pepper. Used a ring mold to cut them and put the marscarpone mixture in, then another potato slice, repeat and there's the little cylinder of goodness!
Wontons! mmm...got some fresh pear in there and some korean marinated beef. i love how simple and good the marinade is for korean bbq. found out the secret is pears. adds sweetness a bit of tart, yumms! puree the pears, onions, garlic and add it to soy sauce with equal amounts of water, add honey tasting as you go. and since there was pear in the marinade, why not add some pear in the wontons too! baked them at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes, brushed with butter so golden brown and crispy...nom nom nom :P
will definitely improve my skills and take on the next season of masterchef!
sad times! i really wanted you to audition!! how about next year??
