Yum, I love this stuff! So I was glad I got to make some yesterday. I used one yam and one sweet potato. Apparently they are different things? I thought they were the same...but the sweet potato has a firmer, white flesh while the yams have the lovely bright orange flesh.
For the sauce, I used garlic, onions, heavy cream, added in some of the leftover roasted red bell pepper puree, gruyere cheese, basil, spinach. I still have a lot of basil left...maybe I'll make a pesto...
